2011 - 2019 explorer 3.5L Torque Specs

To install new brake pads you only need to remove the tire and the brake caliper. Once the caliper is off you can swap the new pads in for the old pads. When reinstalling the rear brake caliper you must torque the caliper sliding bolts to 24 ft-lbs. Also the calipers banjo bolt that holds the brake line onto the caliper torques to 26 ft-lbs.
